Academic Advisory Board Invitation
June 20, 2012
Hello Mazoe Anderson,
I present our compliments and best wishes.
STARZ is glad to inform you that after the abrupt closure of its joint Degree Program in Information Technology early this year with the United Methodist University, the institute immediately applied for its license to operate a degree program.
After meeting all necessary requirements, the Ministry of Education on Friday, April 27, 2012 officially qualified Starz and issued a license permitting her to offer an Associate Degree in Information Technology. The new college under the name “Starz College of Technology” will be fully functional during the next academic semester.
I wish to invite you to serve as a member of the Academic Advisory Board for the College.
As the name depicts, this body will play an advisory role for the continuous and sustained improvement of the College by shaping the program based on the market demand, introducing new ideas, soliciting additional resources and monitoring the performance of the program.
I am pleased to also inform you that the program has attracted many people from all around Liberia and our aim is to adequately train Liberians into certified IT Professionals.
The academic semester for Starz College of Technology begins this August 2012.
I sincerely ask that you contact us via email to confirm your membership or call and confirm. To inquire more information about the program and its committee, kindly respond.
With assurance of my highest esteem, I anticipate a favorable response.
Kind regards.
Sincerely yours,
Latim Da-Thong

The Problem
After relocating to Charlotte, NC as a strategic move for growth and life changes; co -owner Tracy Robertson of TAG Concept Salons faced the issue of rebuilding clientele.
In her previous attempts to build client base not knowing any stylist or natural hair clients in the area she had to choose the best means to use her marketing dollars. To her own admission she never had to pass out flyers coming from a larger market of “Metro Atlanta” to a bustling “Charlotte Upscale” this was not something she would now entertain.
